Refund Policy
Yoga ReSource — Yoga Therapy School & Clinic

1. Purpose and scope
This policy describes the refund, cancellation, and transfer terms applicable to purchases made through the resourceyoga.com website, including:
training courses, workshops, and retreats;
clinic services;
subscriptions or memberships;
digital products (online training courses, replays, downloadable documents).
It aims to protect both the rights of the client and the sustainability of Yoga ReSource's activities in a spirit of transparency and mutual respect.
2. Digital products and instant content
In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, any product delivered by download or accessible immediately after payment (online training courses, replays, digital manuals, videos) is non-refundable once access has been granted or the connection link has been received.
By confirming your purchase, you acknowledge:
that access is provided immediately;
that the right of termination provided for by law does not apply;
and that any subsequent requests for reimbursement will be refused.
3. In-person training courses and workshops
3.1 Cancellation by the participant
o 30 days or more before the event: refundable deposit
o 15 to 29 days prior: non-refundable deposit, but transferable or credited toward a future Yoga ReSource event
o Less than 14 days before: no refund or credit possible, as costs have already been incurred (room rental, logistics, etc.).
Yoga ReSource will refund any amount due within 10 business days of receiving the cancellation.
3.2 Cancellation by Yoga ReSource
In the event of cancellation of an event (illness of a trainer, insufficient number of registrations, force majeure), registered participants may:
be transferred to a new date;
receive a full credit valid for 12 months;
or get a full refund.
4. Retreats and immersions
Retreats involving venue reservations, meals, and accommodations involve fixed costs that are non-refundable.
Terms and conditions:
Up to 60 days before the event: full refund, minus a $200 administrative fee.
Between 60 and 30 days prior: credit for the amount paid, transferable to another retreat within 12 months.
Less than 30 days before: non-refundable, except in cases of force majeure (death, serious medical emergency).
Any retreat canceled by Yoga ReSource will be fully refunded.
5. Clinic services
Private consultations may be canceled or rescheduled up to 24 hours in advance at no charge.
Any appointment missed or canceled less than 24 hours in advance will be billed in full.
Insurance receipts are provided only for consultations that have taken place.
6. Subscriptions and memberships
Recurring subscriptions (community access, online content) are automatically renewed at the selected frequency.
You can cancel the renewal at any time before the expiration date via your account or by emailing carina@resourceyoga.com.
Periods already started are non-refundable, but access remains active until the end of the paid period.
7. Force majeure
Yoga ReSource cannot be held responsible for delays, cancellations, or changes caused by events beyond its control: pandemics, natural disasters, strikes, technological breakdowns, or government decisions.
In such cases, participants will be offered:
a resumption of activity;
or a credit valid for another event.
9. Reimbursement request procedure
All requests must be sent in writing to carina@resourceyoga.com, specifying:
your first and last name;
the date and title of the activity;
the reason for the request.
Approved refunds will be made using the same payment method within 10 business days.
10. Applicable law
This policy is governed by the laws of Quebec and applicable Canadian federal laws.
Any dispute shall be brought before the courts of the District of Montreal (QC).
11. Update
Yoga ReSource reserves the right to modify this policy at any time.
