 Course Content

The practice and philosophy of yoga are
intrinsically beneficial to health.

Learn what these benefits are, how to practice
and teach to promote the benefits,
and how to integrate these benefits into everything you do.

Yoga is a philosophy of life, far beyond our mat!

This training highlights:

  • A combination of anatomical theory and yoga practice that will help you better define the universal alignment principles of Hatha Yoga. We explore the structure, function and interrelation of the spine and hips, knees and feet, shoulders and neck, as well as the anatomical support of the breath. Knowing anatomy will support your yoga practice and teaching; practicing yoga will support your anatomy.

  • Apply established anatomical principles to your own postural alignment, and then to that of your students. Through postural analysis and specific corrective and strengthening exercises, learn to offer your students a practice that goes beyond the yoga mat! The practice is in the body, in daily life....and in the fascia!

  • Anatomy helps to understand structure, physiology helps to understand function. With the nervous system and stress response, we see how yoga and breathing affect different aspects of health, organs, muscles, fascia and circulation.

  • The immune system protects our sense of self, maintaining the integrity of all our body systems. Learn how to strengthen your immune system and that of your students. Learn to address common illnesses such as sinus problems, headaches and inflammation.

  • According to the philosophy of yoga, we are able to experience our bodies on both a physical and energetic level. Learn to integrate an understanding of the breath through the chakras, vayus and 5 elements in a therapeutic context.

  • The role of our mind in all the systems mentioned above. Making connections between neural connection to motor skills, stress response and immunological health. Yoga philosophy provides tremendous tools for understanding the mind. By  applying the philosophy through practice, we can train the mind to create the optimal conditions for health.

  • The "Therapeutic Applications" section is designed to give students the chance to apply everything they've learned during the training. Working in teams, each student will experience  Yoga Therapy as a client, as a therapist and as a teacher. In this way, students will experience the potential of Yoga Therapy on all levels: theoretical, practical and pedagogical.

  • Yoga is - above all - a philosophy of life, helping us to become who we want to be and live the life we want to live.

Through Goal Setting exercises , Manifestation Methods and Ikigai, we learn to set up and to live your ideal future from the present moment.

What you'll master

  • Understanding movement: relationships between segments, functional biomechanics, identifying compensations.

  • Regulating the nervous system: breathing, rest, safety, load & recovery.

  • Adapt with precision: evaluate, choose the right intervention, progress  with balance in mobility, stability, strength, endurance, and more.

  • Linking body & behavior: stress, emotions, habits; creating practices that can be carried out on a daily basis.

  • Communicate clearly: effective instructions, teaching methods that empower people.

  • Building a sustainable practice: ethics, framework, organization, helping relationships, simple strategies for attracting the right clientele.

Is this this program talking to you?

  • Are you a yoga teacher, movement pro, or health practitioner?  Learn why you want to integrate yoga therapy with rigor.

  • You believe that health is possible and can be cultivated - through clear choices and simple practices.

  • You're ready to grow (sometimes uncomfortably) and practice what you pass on.

  • You want a supportive community: feedback, mentoring, question areas, real progress.

If you say yes, we'd be honored to work hand in hand to make your practice a lever for living health - for you and for those you care for.
