The most essential resource

The most essential resource is the air we breathe.
For you, for me, for every cell, and every function of the body.
It is what sustains life.

In yoga philosophy, breathing is much more than an automatic act:
it is the bridge between universal force and individual force,
the breath that connects consciousness to matter,
and reminds us of the innate wisdom of life.

Breath thus becomes the vessel of consciousness.
It teaches us that everything is in motion—that everything comes and goes, like inhalation and exhalation.

In science, we recognize this same intelligence:
breath supports the coordination of all vital functions,
connects the body's systems and guides energy balance.

And on a personal level, it is my daily reminder that life supports me —through every activity, every choice, every moment... with every breath.
Literally.
